I was once a DL passholder for many years, until 2023. It's just so unfortunate that Disney has increased the pricing so dramatically, that I can no longer justify the expense for my budget. At the time, it wasn't even about the annual increases, but it was about no longer making available a pass with no block out dates. When they took that away, and increased the price of a pass, that no longer made financial sense to me. I'm a new grandpa of a grandson that will be turning 2 years old in December and when he's old enough to appreciate Disneyland, I'm afraid I won't be able to afford to take him there for the first time ☹. I appreciate all you do Chris. I am a big fan of your channel. Thank you.

I love your channel Provost and I believe the price increases are simply business. Disneyland will continue to raise prices as long as the attendance remains strong. I do not believe this change is shocking. You are generating business to “Getaway” which is good business too.

Disney will always raise as long as people are willing to pay. Once attendance is affected, Disney will think twice.

It’s even more baffling when you consider how much value has been stripped away in the form of shrinkflation. Smaller food portions with less sides, no entertainment inside the Golden Horseshoe, Dragonless Fantasmic, Pyroless Fantasmic, Fireworks-less fireworks, less entertainment at Avenger’s Campus, the 3-4 most popular rides closing at the same time, goodbye red car trolley for no reason at all, Tomorrowland being woefully neglected for almost 30 years…The 22% gouge then becomes about a 50-80% increase.

Park hopping isn't even worth it, buy 2 day ticket single park. You get to enjoy each park to the fullest and don't have to run around.

Thanks for the great update Chris, our family really loves your videos, you reflect the joy that is Disneyland for us! Yes it is an increase, but breaking it down by day, a four day park hopper with LL is a bump of 16.75. We will skip one quick serve meal per day, so that we can make it more affordable. what we won’t skip are the TiggerTails(we are now obsessed Chris!). Love your videos and words of inspiration, keep them coming!

Honestly, I think they are pricing the magic right out of the park. I fell in love with a Disney that no longer exists. EVERYTIME I go, I remember why it’s no longer worth it. We are a family of 6, we drive and stay at a good neighbor hotel. We eat 2 times a day at the park and share meals as much as we can. We get a 3 day pass, usually did park hopper ( outrageous now) and Genie plus because they make it impossible to get on rides without it. The bare minimum is $6000 for us. That’s a month of wages. For what? To fight crowds, not get on rides because we didn’t pay extra or they are broken! Sorry Disney but we can’t afford it anymore. And we make a pretty good living!!

Then the cost was too much to justify
We are happy Knotts Berry farm pass holders for the last 4 years!! We luv our KNOTTS.!!!
