Thanks. I got my dog as an adult from Animal rescue and his teeth were already yellow. With good food and lots of bones, his molars are now pearly white. Only his canines are still yellow. The vet said I should try scraping the plaque myself, since my doggie is very docile. I already have doggie used to the idea of me fiddling with his teeth. And I'll take it very slow doing only a little bit at a time. But I had no idea even how to begin. Thanks for this tutorial. Now I at least have a clue. I'll check your other videos too.

Cleanings are always booked by dental offices near me so this helps just bought a dental kit on Amazon and saw the reviews I used to do my own cleanings years ago but never learned how to do it professionally just used common sense (didn't have YouTube vids like these)

Looking for info on how to clean our own teeth at home. We got shafted by our dental clinic after they lost all their dental staff and now they’ve gone to a lottery system.

They are the only dentist within 1.5 hrs that takes our state insurance. Sooo I guess we need to learn how to clean plaque off at home. It’s been over 2 years since our last cleaning and we do take good care of our teeth but I see plaque building up between our teeth and the sensation of it is driving me crazy!

It can’t be that hard to learn how to scrape small amount of plaque off of teeth.

This looks the plaque is coming off easily; mine does not & I'm afraid to damage the enamel. Do you have to use the curved bit or the aharp tip?
