Yes in Bangladesh you have to have a high paying job to buy an iPhone. Or in short term you have to be the son or daughter of a rich person to get an iPhone. Most of us use android(yes that includes me and my whole village).

Man. That’s not as “nice.” As I would have hoped Nigeria.

electronics and car imports are heavily taxed in Tunisia an IPhone 14 can reach 3000$ or more so that's that.

This is stupid
Mozambique minimum wage is about 110 euros per month
So it would almost take 100%

And there's me whose bank account shrunk by 80% just by purchasing the 14 pm

You can’t really compare the country’s since they cost different prices in different country’s, and comparing the higher price to different wage Is not fair

Well it sure is interesting but not sure it really allows to compare
Like European salaries already includes all the insurances and most taxes (except VAT and in some countries income tax) while American and Japanese salaries for example don't
In the end even though Japanese and American salaries are on average higher than European's, not sure there's that much of a difference when you withdraw all charges (try insuring your stuff in Europe you'll pay around 100 bucks a year while it's more like 400 bucks a month in the US)
Sure we can find other incoherences like that while looking at other countries but I won't go there as I only have experience with US, Japan and Europe

Keep in mind that this is average, not median. The us would be a lot lower if you removed the top 5% (theyre nearly as rich as the bottom 95%)

Hungary should be way higher on the list, an averagely specced iPhone 14 is around 1, 5k$ here
