I started my own play through last night.
I'm loving the new ADA messages, especially the one about how there's definitely, absolutely, no way to have a portable miner output to a smelter and to stop asking 😂
I got a jumpscare when I picked up a mercer sphere and the message played though! Looking forward to all these new story elements.

I always put my hub on the plateau with the concrete node so it's out of the way of all the flat areas and has a great view of the little iron factory and the steel factory and the coal power plant across the lake below.

Rereshing to play NON Modded and vanilla brings me back, I did notice if you activate Advanced settings u can't get the achievements so now I have 2 new saves going (OCD brain) haha. Love it keep up the great work been looking forward to your new play through.

I can't not start in Northern Forest any longer after your playthrough about 1.5 to 2 years back where I played along to learn the game. I just can't say no to 4x pure iron, 2x pure copper, and 2x pure limestone nodes right where you are starting (again).

Although I do miss the nearby 2x pure quartz nodes...

Awesome start, can't wait to get started myself.
One note, each time you say "this" or "over here/there" to demonstrate a location you do a little circle with the mouse, it can be quite nausea inducing if you're not feeling 100%.

I'm glad they fixed that planet fall sequence with the scanner strap. it use to float for few seconds when you hit reentry then fall as if it hit gravity even though the pod is still falling at high speed. my ocd was acting up. now it falls when the ship actually slowed down. so thanks devs👍

When you said you were getting scared of ADA, I feel you. While I was translating some of its dialogue for the game, I got pretty creeped out too 😅
