When I first heard this song, it felt like the beginning of something special. It marked the start of Mumei’s journey in Hololive as part of the 2nd generation of HoloEN—during what many of us consider the golden era of VTubing. That moment sparked countless memories—some joyful, some bittersweet—but all deeply cherished.

Over the years, we've seen graduations come and go, and through it all, one line from the song has always stuck with me: "When one journey has ended, round the bend's a whole new start." It reminded me that endings don’t always mean goodbye, and that something new is always waiting just ahead.

Now, almost four years later, it's Mumei's turn to graduate. And while every farewell hurts in its own way, this one cuts a little deeper. With those like Ame and Fauna, there was always a sense of hope they still wanted to be VTubers, and believed we'd see them again. But with Mumei, it feels different. She still loves singing, still loves the community but her health makes continuing on that path difficult. That uncertainty... it’s painful.

We may not know when or if we’ll see her again, and that’s hard to accept. But even through the sadness, I hold onto the belief that her story isn’t truly ending it’s just taking a new form.
