Thry are testing at night for a reason. Less traffic. The bus company doesn't have the confidence to test them through the busy commuting traffic hours.

Those in the comments who don't have the intelligence to see a particular future and then comment thus, does not mean others with vastly more intelligence cannot make a particular future happen.

I would ride a driverless bus. I probably wouldn't feel safe walking in front of one though. That said, I don't feel safe walking in front of a bus with a sleepy or distracted driver either. Driverless tech is only going to get better from here, the same cannot be said about human drivers.
