the pros and cons of an electric drum is that you can play the same note every time with absolutely no change because the machine physically can’t make the same mistake a human can. In addition, the electronic drum has a bigger and better lifespan. The con is that it really changes your perspective of percussion. It doesn’t look like that set can make that type of noise, whereas the acoustic makes the noise that you’re used to seeing come from it.

Now put your acoustics against a high-end edrum kit with better triggers and module (say, Roland TD-27 or up or Alesis Strike, Mimic) for a better A > B comparison. I have both and they both have advantages.

You can't beat a good old Acoustics kit but some higher end Electronic drums kits are getting really good!

these both genuinely sound amazing, but personally, i've always thought the electric drums had weak crashes. that said, i also definitely prefer the kick on the electric..

Acoustic by far, I love my electric set but in my Experience the toms are too small so they’re hard to hit

I always wanted an electric drum set but the old drum set I had as a kid was awesome I’m gonna buy one for my future house when I get a job I had so much fun on the drum just didn’t have any space so we had to get rid of it sadly
