Imagine if congress put in this much effort in actually improving American lives - such as infrastructures, healthcare, social security and education.

So proud of our law makers. They managed not telling the Singaporean "go back to China" throughout the 5+ hours.

Watching congress ask questions about TikTok was like watching my dog afraid of it's shadow. They are literally too dumb to understand the questions they are asking.

Never forget: Dan Crenshaw owns Meta (i.e, Facebook) stock and should have declared his conflict of interest

It's amazing how united Congress can become with the power of Insider Trading.

The original sin on Tiktok is that its parent company is from China, and everything from China is evil from the US sight, the cheap home tool and apparel is ok, but hell no to the high end device and apps, I am so scared.🤣🤣🤣

We are the Congress. We will let you speak only if your answers align with what we want to hear.

LKY once said, in 50yrs China will catch up with US, military or economy. Although, today it is the halfway mark, in reality, it will be less than 10 yrs. US is very uncomfortable knowing that they cannot be a street bully anymore because big brother is coming to town

'Destroying our society from within' - what does Crenshaw think has been happening via existing social media platforms before TikTok even arrived on the scene?

Whatever TikTok’s is doing, our domestic apps are doing. Difference is these folks are getting their cut.

What’s funny is people are concerned less about national security, and more about the next big video trend. The proceedings are annoying how it’s conducted. But I have a friend in cyber security. She works for our national security. There are serious issues she said. But these proceedings are a joke how they’re being held.

My question is… isn’t this a concern with all social media apps and other data storing companies with a Chinese entity? Why only tik tok? Does Meta not have a Chinese entity? Google? Apple? Etc?

Wouldn’t, by the same logic, the Chinese entity of those companies be required by the CCP to hand over data?

"Thank you Mr. Chew for bringing democrats and republicans together." What a great opening line.

Out of all of those committee members, these concern and questions makes the most sense. Unfortunately vast majority of them were filled with ignorant prejudice, and diluted the focus.
