The legend of "The Boz" died on the field that day.

I played football for years. When you go head up helmet to helmet and after contact you are on your back and the runner is still running. That's getting ran over. Bo didn't run over Boz.

How can someone really call this getting run over. A good defensive player meets a good offensive player and the offensive player gets just a few yards out on a run but it just happens to be enough to get in the end zone for a touchdown. It has happened thousands upon thousands of times in every league of football. Now if Bo Jackson had just trampled over Bosworth and still been standing in the end zone and left Bosworth laying on his back. That would have been a run over. This was just another play.

obviously Boz' haters describe the play as bo just running over and destroying boz. but it really wasn't. Boz lost the matchup but its more like base hit than a home run. Now from behind the keyboard... Looks like boz would have needed to go lower on the tackle to have a chance but who'd want to get this by those ramming thighs???

A week later Bo took his first hand off of the game vs the Buffalo Bills and Cornelius Bennett drilled his ass in the dirt behind the quarterback as he turns to hand Bo the ball like he did so many times in the Alabama Auburn games. . Surprise you can't find that highlight but it did happen.

Bo Jackson's career was a steroid nightmare. He played 3 seasons total. That's it. He retired, and where did the muscle go? He was always hurt, steroids made his tendons not hold his weight like many OL and others. Injuries and roids go hand in hand.
