I’m confused . On mini splits all the lines set are all flared into the system . There’s no brazing at all !! Why waste your money on pro press fitting ?

I can see using the press at the indoor unit connection but all you are doing here is adding one extra joint and possible leak point. A good quality flare tool and hooking the lineset directly to the compressor is much better practice. For the love of god use a good quality flare tool though.

What are you doing? Is this just to up charge the customer so you can charge for your press tool. Seems like this is completely unnecessary since you still have a flare fitting
