In the 1932 film, they simply sealed Imhotep in a sarcophagus WITHOUT the flesh-eating scarab beetles; and that was that.

The 1st one had more torture because of the bugs😢

In 1932, it was very fine cuz it has no bugs that they dropped but in 1999, it had me a childhood trauma. Cuz they put bugs on it to kill him or infect him.
