That scarab getting nom-nomed by him looked creepy with the sound effects 😅. Damn thing deserved it because it used to eat the flesh of live humans in that movie 😂

It’s weird to think that there’s nothing really there it’s just all computerized just like in The Mummy Returns whenever that guy takes his shirt off and has all of those scarabs inside his body with out the CGI he would’ve looked like an idiot just randomly taking his shirt off and and freaking out and there’s nothing there.

I remember enjoying the effects of this movie, but 18 years later it's hard not to criticize the director or the VFX team of this and similar other movies of that time for being too ambitious. What was deemed 'good enough' at the time looked just 'fine' at best, but often just 'so-so' or downright silly.
