Recently, I pulled the Master Sword, and realized that Zelda was the dragon. I then reloaded an old save, and I'm going to get all the tear memories first. I may have been spoiled, but I still want to do it right. Plus, I can use the Master Sword as a beacon so I get the parts for the Champion Leathers. However, Zelda taking care of the Master Sword for so many years, shows how much she cares for Link.

So many fanfics revolve around Link and Zelda being traumatized by their experiences in TOTK (especially the whole light dragon thing), but the idea of them being chill about it at the end somehow rings true for them considering what an absolutely chaotic couple of weirdos they are. I didn't start realising Zelda had become a dragon until I learned what Dragonfication was in one of the Tears, that's when I started putting the pieces together. Before that I just theorized what if Zelda became the Light Dragon. It was just a fun speculation until I learned the truth and as soon as i did my heart sank. Seeing that final Tear broke me! I was left feeling melancholic for a little over a week, that is something that will stick with me for a long time to come. Gotta congratulate Aonuma and the rest of the story devs for making me genuinely cry, thats not easy to do.

Personally, I just like to think Link sat on the Light Dragon's head Dragon Ball GT style and just talked to her. Yes, I gathered materials as well, but really only to upgrade my Tunic and make some healing mallets.
