I’m in Melbourne too and the seasonal depression is real. It creeps up on you until you’re like “why do I feel like this??” Then realise it’s been grey and cold for the past 2 months and you’ve not been able to do your usual hobbies. We’re over the halfway mark! You’ve got this 😊💖

Going to the gym 3x a week is literally so hard man - I have no idea how people do it before/after work and NOT burnout IMMEDIATELY, props to you 👏

I'm pescaterian in the way you described (only eat fish very occasionally) and I learned last year that my zinc levels were low! It made me feel sluggish and apathetic and taking a supplement has helped so much. Obvs follow your own bloodwork + doctor's recs but just something to be aware of! Hope your energy levels are back to normal soon

This was lovely, as always. I do enjoy your vlog style vids. It’s good that you’re playing that game as downtime - don’t forget that now you’re reading as your job, you’re going to need breaks from it. When I started selling my art and embroidery, for a while I stopped enjoying it and had to have a break. It’s the one downside of your hobby being your job. Hopefully you feel refreshed now. I haven’t felt like myself for a few months now but I know I’ll find my groove again. I really like seeing videos like these I don’t feel so alone. It does really feel like you’re FaceTiming with us and I love it when my favorite YouTubers do that. Love you Harriet ☺️💜

I live in the northern hemisphere and I def get the fall/winter blues, even though fall is my favorite season. It’s just the natural cycle for me. I tend to live vicariously through your channel when it’s my winter time though because you are in the swing of summer then and it’s like I’m savoring the last drop! Thanks for always keeping it real here! We’re all human and it’s nice to hear someone speaking so candidly about and validating the not so perfect feelings we have as humans when social media has become so heavily influenced by this idea of selling “perfection” ❤ I see you and you’re doing an amazing job!!

Doctor checkups are so important! I used to put them off even though I wasn't feeling like myself all year last year. I would get crazy cravings, was always hungry and tired but I just thought it was stress. Turned out I have LADA diabetes which I found after being sent into the ER. I really regret not going to the doctors on time (even though everything turned out fine and I am doing good not) because I could have saved myself from so much hospital trauma and worrying.

It's definitely winter blues in Melbourne, i get it every year. Also, you've just done a huge overseas trip, so your body wants to slow down and rest. I think it's pretty normal.

I don't know if you're just going through a rough patch, or as you mentioned - or just always struggled with anxiety... because you're normally so upbeat! I myself deal with anxiety and depression, just a different side of you this video. Some of us are good at hiding it. Nothing wrong with it at all, and I thank you for sharing instead of making life look so perfect and easy all the time as others do. I always click so quickly when I see a new one from you bestie!
