65 Fender Deluxe Reverb VS 68 Fender Custom Deluxe Reverb

65 has a crispier high end and growl to it. 68 has more of a rounded high end with scooped mids. Both great, I prefer 65 for how it sounds in a full band mix! Nice work!

Stock speakers in both? I've replace my stock 65 DRRi spk for an EVH and turned it in another amp. Much more dynamic and clear. Would be great if you was make a new video comparing just the amps (keeping the same speaker as reference).

I rented both amps @ long & mcquade, I liked blackface better .

You need to turn the Volume up to 6 to really hear the differences between the 2 channels on the 68 reissue. You recorded this at 3. Try again, the Custom side is definitely darker and thicker.

Sadly could not see the settings for both amplifiers. The 68 has a Bassman tonestack and at the same volume on the same channel, they sound very different. Not impressed with this review. Have seen better on youtube. Not a very good comparison.
