TurboTax charged me 110 for filing something that wasn't a "simple" tax return. Idk why I even thought to use turbo tax rather than just do my taxes myself. Why trust a searte party to do my own taxes when I can just learn myself? THank you for this video, I want to try filing myself next year and feel more informed.

when you say the irs is great cause it let you file federal and state hoe do i choose them once i am in the irs website because i can not find it or figure it out, they do have or they redirect me to turbo tax h & r block, tax act but which one is the one for the irs

Hey! So.. I work in the US under a work visa and I pay taxes regularly. During the 2020 pandemic though, I went to Brazil (my home country) got married and haven't returned to the US (yet). My question is, should I worry about adjusting my status before filing taxes or will it have any impact at all since my wife hasn't ever stepped in the US yet?

I am behind 12 years on my taxes. I never filed because I never understood how to. No one would help me. I had self employment work I never payed taxes on and now I have a employee based job that I get a w2 and it takes out my taxes out my paycheck. I`m so confused what to do. I cant afford to pay someone to help me with this tax mess. I also don`t have all the papers they send at the end of the year that says what I made. I did a lot of different self employment jobs so I have no idea what I made each year with each job. I would like to try to get a tax refund on the employee based job I have the past few years but if I owe back taxes and never filed How can I? What should I do?
