In this video attorney Jubin Dana of Dana Legal Services and @thepatentguru, provides a summary of the necessary items you need to complete in order to file for a patent.
Once your patent application is complete you can move to apply! To do this you must have these four things:

1. Your completed patent application
2. An application datasheet
3. Oath and Declaration form(s)
4. Pay the fees!

The application itself includes claims, the description, and drawings. All the items are necessary to complete your application. Second, you will need an application datasheet. This is the tool that the USPTO uses to connect patents in their database. This is a downloadable form that can be found on the USPTO website. Next comes the Oath and Declaration, which needs to be signed by each inventor. This is also found on the USPTO website. Finally, you can't forget to pay your fees. Fees are based on your entity size.

We will be hosting a webinar on August 19, 2021, 11am PST going into deeper detail about the entire process of filing for your patent. Tune in here @thepatentguru on YouTube to watch!
