This is a collection of images taken with the french Vaonis Vespera 11 smart telescope. The images were taken from a bortle 6 suburb in Perth, west Australia. I set out to take as many images as possible, of the brightest and most well known objects that are seen in the southern hemisphere milky way during winter and spring. The images are all edited and enhanced of course. i have included some objects that are not part of the milky way to. Most of the objects are named and labeled for those who want to know what the objects are, and maybe view and image them with a telescope or telephoto camera. The added music is kindly made available copyright free by "keys of Moon" the tune is called "ascension.

Great images!!! I just purchased the Vespera II and can't wait to experiment with it. Unfortunately the full moon / weather aren't cooperating. What is the most important / surprising thing you have learned so far about the Vespera? Again, GREAT images!

Thanks for the quick answer! Did you use any of the Vaonis filters? And did you post process your images, or are you showing them straight out of the scope? Thanks!

Great images :) what Bortle sky are you shooting under? How much Integration rime on average do you need for your images? Thinking about buying a Vespera II myself :)
