Fresh Salsa

Serves: Makes 2 cups
 
Use as a topping for burritos or other Mexican-style food, or serve as a dip for Oven-Baked Tortilla Chips or raw vegetables.

Ingredients
1 15 oz can chopped tomatoes
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped canned green chilies
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1/4 tsp Tabasco

Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process briefly until blended.
Note: This will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
