Rip Carl Sagan, the voice of reason in a science denying world. Of course the phrase "Billions and billions", actually came from a skit by Johnny Carson taking the mickey out of Sagan's emphasis on the B in billions to differentiate it from millions.

Wow, good job, ...my dad and I used to absorb everything that we could find from Carl Sagan. I bought him 2 of Carl's books, ...Dragons of Eden, and Brocas Brain, and we watched Cosmos over and over, I still do, ...Neil Degrasse Tyson is all I can find streaming, but at least he was Carl's protégé and he does a good job. I am thrilled to see that people love him like we did, and like I do. It sounds a little odd perhaps but I feel like I know him more than just from seeing him on TV and reading his material, ...I'm happy to say that my kids feel the same way and share Carl with their friends, ...they connect immediately with him.
