Hello people of the internet! 👋 Welcome to episode 1 of "Madeira Diaries" - a mini travel vlog series where we explore the island, taste local food and drinks, go on hikes, go surfing, swimming, snorkelling, discover hidden beaches, and other fun stuff! Happy to have you here! 🌊

Madeira, also known as Hawaii of Europe, is an island located in the Atlantic Ocean. Madeira is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture. It is known for its wine and warm, subtropical climate. The main island of Madeira is volcanic, green and rugged, with high cliffs, pebbly beaches and settlements on deltas of the Fajã River.

In this episode, we're going to land at one of the most dangerous airports. I'll give you a quick accommodation tour, which happens to be a wonderful farmhouse! All this is naturally accompanied by my yapping about all the events of first days at this beautiful island, and sharing random tips and hidden gems we have discovered.
