Anıtkabir is not always this crowded, you said the beginning of the video it is November and Atatürk died on 10th November, my guess this is the reason of the crowd.

Ankara may doesnt seem like touristic city but i can assure that it´s the best city in Turkey. Planned, calm and warm. The districts have shown in this video is only little part and chaotic face of the city.

This is the first video I have seen about Ankara and I quite liked it. Very vibrant and modern city. Is English well understood ? Did you interact much with the people. In my very early life I thought of studying engineering in Middle Eastern Technical University (METU), Ankara. It did not materialise. It looks like a very cultured place. Thanks for the video Jason. I visited shortly after September 11th when the towers fell in New York: I enjoyed the mosque, the metro was clean and the citadel offered great views. This is a great place to visit and a great man for which i have a lot of respect. Turkey has the advantage for non-muslims insofar as you can visit mosques!
