Guys, please. Do some research on where you're going. Anıtkabir is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of the Turkish War of Independence and the founder and the first President of the Republic of Turkey.

Anıtkabir is the resting place of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the country and a war veteran/ hero. He isn't just an ordinary president, and is certainly not the second president of the country. He may as well be the only reason why Turkey exists today. So the topic in question is taken very seriously. The sirens you heard go on for about a minute straight. This happens each time a wreath laying ceremony takes place. 10th of November is a rather special date. In that date, sirens go off in the entire country. Everyone stops for a minute of silence, and I mean everyone. Life essentially halts. That's the date in which Atatürk sadly passed away. You made the correct choice in standing still when the sirens were on, otherwise you would've received some not at all pleasent looking faces from people around you. Atatürk's legacy shadows everything here. And if you pay attention you'll see his portraits all over the place. So that's that. Hope you liked Anıtkabir. But in these instances it is always wise to do a little research about the country and its general history before making a visit. It was a good video tho, hoping to see more.

Looks like whoever hold a camera consider themselves a film maker or photographer! Anıtkabir is not the resting place of the second president of Turkey! It is the resting place and mausoleum of Atatürk, the founder and the first president of Turkey, father of the Turks! For your information, He evolved Turkey into the age of enlightenment by ending the monarchy, leading it to a national, secular, democratic and modern state.
He identified the founding principle of Turkey as "Sovereignty Unconditionally Belongs to the nation." not to some kings and queens in some palaces!

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is a hero of the Turkish nation and one of its most sacred values. He is far from being an ordinary figure. Sharing misleading or false information about him is not only disrespectful to his legacy but also an insult to the Turkish nation itself. Atatürk represents independence, reason, modernity, and the spirit of a nation that rose from the ashes. Any distortion of his role in history is an attack on truth and the identity of millions. He deserves to be remembered with respect, accuracy, and honor.

Ankara is a city of universities, so I guess you can find a lot of young people that can speak English, especially in the district you are staying at. It is normal that street salesmen don't speak English at all. There is not much to see in Kızılay, but walking around Tunalı Hilmi Street or looking at the city view of Ankara from Atakule would be better choices.

If you don't know anything about the places you've visited, don't comment. If you're commenting, get even a little bit of information. anitkabir is not an ordinary building. Also, there are many international brands in Turkey. The shopping mall in Kızılay is one of the worst in Ankara. These are just friendly advice. welcome 👍

Hi guys. You really went to Anıtkabir without collecting any information about the Leader who is the one of the most progressive and smartest of the world? Just went there to see a building while All over the worlds leaders and politicians still talking about his revolutions and progressive ideas? Mustafa Kemal is the Leader who changed our destiny and with a poor army he saved Turkey from Greek, British army. Then he started a hidden organisation to finish monarchy and went to Anatolia to tell people the new modern country rules. This would be Republic of Turkiye but when he was orginising hidden conferences, Sultans army seeking for hım to kill hım couse of his ideas against monarchy. He gave election and being a member of parliement rights to Turkish woman much before modern Europe ! Thats not all. On 10th November 09:05 (his date of death)every year we stand for hım to respect to his memory for 1 minute. When we re on the roads too we get off the car on highways and stand for his memory. Atatürk means father of the Turks. The Turkish parliement of the New Republic give this name to Mustafa Kemal, as a surname. His name became Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ( father of the Turks) its unbelievable to go this place without any informations. You have network connection guys. We re in 2022.
And welcome to Turkiye.

It is amazing that you guys seem to shoot these videos with absolutely no preparation at all. This is more like bumbling around Turkey with your friends rather than an informative online travel guide. I mean wouldn't you want to read up at least a page of wikipedia on Anitkabir on the night before, if you were planning to go there on the next day and shoot a video? Same goes for street food options.

Really nice to see people visit Ankara. It is usually not a touristic city but more of a governmental city since it is the capital. Hope you had great time in the city! Just two quick things, Anitkabir is the place where the founder of the Republic of Turkey lays - and there is also the tomb of the second president thats why you probably got confused - and that is the reason why the security is high in there! Also on besh is 15 not 6 but its alright xD. There are so many international brands in turkey, in fact most big companies choose Turkey as their middle east retaliator and they have factories in Turkey such as H&M or US Polo, HOWEVER Kizilay AVM is a very old shopping center so maybe you wont find that much in there.

Anyways I am not here to point out your mistakes, if you had fun thats what matter and at the end the video is awesome. I would just recommend if next time you come to Ankara to find a local friend who would help you and guide you in the city, because Ankara is not a touristic city so there arent that good of guides online but if you find a local he would porbably take you to the best places in the city that you wont find online otherwise. Safe travels and looking forward for the next videos :)

Onbeş means fifteen, you paid 7.5 liras each, same spot that you got those teas, you will see a BurgerKing and Popeyes, go in and at the first floor (above the ground floor), right after you climb the stairs, order a tea from the counter on left, 4 liras per cup. The guards shouted "Geriye dön" which means, "Turn back".
