Nice work boys . I had a job like this once for a client and I ordered the concrete truck in 😂 fuck mixing bags the consistency won’t be the same and it’s a pain in the ass. My truck cost $650, bags would have cost $200 plus my time getting them and then labour to mix plus renting a big mixer like that and hauling it over etc waste for me anyways

So, if it's just bare concrete finish (i.e no tiles on top), need to allow steel reinforcement bar as what you did ? Becos I have seen in other videos, after compaction of hardcore, they just put mass concrete base (1Cement + 5sand + Wtr mix ) & lay tiles on top.

Not a concrete expert but shouldn't there be an expansion joint or is the rebar good enough?
