I felt so fortunate to get my hands on one of these kits, so I thought I'd share that experience with you all and do a video of the unboxing. I also recorded a demo where I take it for a spin in the studio.

I gotta say... I absolutely love these drums. They look and sound incredible, and since recording this video I've played them at a few live gigs with fantastic results. They project very well, and look stunning under the stage lights.

Yeah i dont know why tama didnt include the memory locks on the floor toms, where as the regular starclassic walnut birch kits have memory locks on the floor toms.

Nice video Kirk. Beautiful looking and sounding kit. Use it in good health.
I think that bass is going to sound great with a PS 3. That EQ 4 sounded a little too papery (that's actually a word believe it or not.)
That may be my listening source (a phone) but it will be interesting to see if the PS 3 makes a difference.

Nice video bro! If possible, and if you still have the main boxes, may I know the sizes of them (lxwxh), I am planing to purchase one but I may need to import it to Mexico and the size/wight will be a good refrende for me to calculate a possible shipping cost.

I have this kit..if you want next level sound..get rid of the Evans G2 heads and replace them with the Remo clear Ambassadors and tune them higher..Wide open!! No muffling on the toms!!!!
