Your hon'r, a judgement recently pronounced by the full bench of 7
judges on the issue of sub classification of the SC/ST list for distribution of reservation . Sir, objective behind this judgement is certainly to provide the benifit of reservation to the deprived / marginalise section amongst SC/ST.
Sir, this jugdgement is liked by the deprived section of SC, ST in the country, particularly valmiki / scavenger community.
Sir, I, being a lawyer of this community , observed that perhaps this was first time when a pitible condition of scavengers was shown in the Supreme Court room.This was really a great movement . Sir, I may say that this is the one of the great achievement of the 75 th year of the constitution which Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar thought 75 years back.
But this judgement lacked that no time has been fixed to implement this. However, we have the legal option of Contempt also.
----An Advocate (scavenger/Valmiki), High Court Patna.(Govt.Adv.), Gen.Secy.A petioner Organization of this case.And well known to present AG of the SC. Supreme Court 🙏
