In Islam, prayer beads, known as misbaha or tasbih, are used as a tool for reciting dhikr (remembrance of Allah). Muslims use them to count specific phrases of praise and remembrance, helping focus their devotion during worship.

The most common phrases recited with prayer beads are:

1. SubhanAllah (“Glory be to Allah”) – acknowledging Allah’s perfection.
2. Alhamdulillah (“All praise is due to Allah”) – expressing gratitude.
3. Allahu Akbar (“Allah is the Greatest”) – affirming Allah’s greatness.

A typical string of Islamic prayer beads has 99 beads, representing the 99 names of Allah, or 33 beads, repeated three times to reach the same number. Some use prayer beads after salah, following a tradition of reciting these phrases as a way to deepen their spiritual connection and increase mindfulness of Allah throughout the day.

You were actually right, you say Allah u akbar 33 times then say la ilaha ila allah wahadhu la sharika lahu, lahu al mulk wa lahu alhamdu wa hwa ala kuli shaee qadir

(I believe saying them in your native language is better because this way you're glorifying Allah the best way, but search for it and jazakum Allah u khairan)
