When I was a little girl, my mum made us watch Lawrence Welk. Why? Because I had 3 sisters & my mum was a concert pianist and church organist. She dreamed of the 4 of us performing together 😂 Yes, we were forced to sing in front of the congregation.
My sister, Tanja, passed away much too young 3 years ago, yesterday. She & I never missed an episode & when Kristen Wiig debuted, we were laughing so hysterically, "That could be us!" for years. Of course, I was voted to be Dooneese...yet my birth name is? TONI 😂
(I am a singer in a band now, too, btw, lol.)

Just writing this makes me laugh/cry so hard, but THANK YOU for the Larry Welk compilation! (Fred Armison's accent was spot on
