This is what people use to surround them selves with. They strived to be happy even though things were tough. Now we have it easy and we strive to be miserable.

Oh the memories of trying to dance polkas with my grandmother when I was young. She passed when I was only 7, but the memories I cherish 😊

Super Musik!

Growing up in the sixties I had my Saturday night bath then I came downstairs to watch the Lawrence welk show as my mother set my hair in pipe curls!
Just simple relaxing happy music to program the mind before sleeping!
Healing and blessings to all this year of 2023 and beyond!

I saw Lawrence Welk live when the band played a show in Birmingham in the 1970s. We took my grandmother to see him. I had such a crush on Joey, the young blonde accordion player!

I kid met Mr Welk and his band at the Allentown Fair like 6 decades ago.
Boy Mr Welk was so nice as well as Myron.
This was one of the 1st pieces I learned to play on the Hammond Organ (C3), and anytime folks were over, I had like 60 mins of playing as long as I could read the music it got played.
Never got the gift of playing by ear.
Oh such fun memories
Thanks so much for bringing back the Welk show on You Tube.
