by setting maxinum thing to anying below 100% you will clock down to 2.5ghz. you can adjust the frequency by running this command in administrative command prompt or powershell: REG ADD /v Attributes /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f then go to power options, processor power management. you should see the option. the lower the maxinum frequency is, the cooler, slower it is.

Thanks a lot! This dropped my temps from 98 to 78 on forza horizon 5 with only seeting it to 99%. Benchmark only showed an average frame drop from 70 to 69 fps so totally worth it

this is the best tips ever!. 75 t0 80 celcius are normal temperature when you on game. but after this, my gaming laptop drops to 50 t0 60 celcius on ultra setting mode gaming. this is crazy. thank you so much!
