Dart Zone has probably done enough to cement themselves as the best mainstream blaster company, but the Dart Zone Pro Mk4 certainly isn't hurting.

At the price, just buy a Harrier. One of the main complaints about the Swift is that it's too big, and the Mk4 seems to be just as big if not bigger. As someone who's fielded a 24" barrel Caliburn and the longest barrel Swift, sure a long blaster is usable, but a shorter one is way more maneuverable. Plus not smacking people and objects with your barrel is good too.

The mags themselves have been redesigned so they function like the blaster has a skinny pusher. It's super neat an really innovative.

I would probably take this over a Harrier if I were going for something like this. I prefer the look of this, harrier gets a bit too close to real-steel profile and silhouette for me. This thing, especially with the barrel extension, looks like a scifi railgun or something. I loved how the Swift looked but heard too many issues about a few fragile internal bits and build quality. This gets me a similar look and vibe with better build quality, and a good range of performance options out of the box. Between the two springs, the barrel extension, and SCAR, seems like you can pretty easily tune up or down. $180 is quite a bit expensive and more than I'm looking to spend right now, and I've not had the opportunity to go out and actually compete. So I'm likely to stick with my Nexus, Conquest and Deuce Pros for the time being, though I am def eyeing that new X-Shot Longshot.

My issue is that for about the same price, I could get a Harrier, which would give me nylon injection-molded body with metal internals and compatibility with airsoft/real-steel stock options. For a whole lot less money I could get a Trion or the upcoming Unicorn. Any of these are a lot smaller than the mk4. I dunno if this really has a space other than as an oddity to round out the dart Zone collection. That draw is just too long and the price places it in the premium range where its value is not as compelling.

A DartZone podcast/sit down talk video thingy hinted at the use of a 20mm spacer in the MK4 and the darts that come with it are the “bamboo 2x” darts and are supposedly heavier than the bamboo 2.0s

This makes me wonder: ehat if they made a modular system based on that barrel socket?
Imagine differing lengths of working barrel, scar barrels, maybe even the cronograph-dart counter thing hasbro made that one time.

its really not that good considering the price is x3 that of a stryker, and the additional features are pretty minimal. For $120 extra dollars you're getting slightly more comfortable ergonomics, a barrel extension, scar and a few other things when you could put maybe $5 worth of spring upgrades into the stryker and hit 200 FPS.

Regarding the mags, in a promo video Dart Zone mentioned how the Mk4's mags have skinny lips that can bend around the pusher. So standard talon mags will need the prime pulled back to be swapped.

the fact that you cannot add a scar or bcar on the ``supercharge barrel`` makes it totally obsolete.
doesnt really bring anything new to the game, just yet another pump action springer...
