I made Dart Zone PRO MK-4 even BETTER!

This DZP MK-4 mod guide was paid for by Dart Zone Blasters, but they did not view the content before hand and did not control what I did or say in this video beyond 1) Mod Blaster, 2) Check the Velocity on the Chronograph and 3) Check the accuracy against my indoor range.

People wrote off the DZP MK4 pretty much immediately. $180, 200 FPS out of the box, why even bother? Well that's because Dart Zone massive overbuilt the blaster to give you the option to tune it to a much higher velocities. Not only do I mod this blaster beast to hit far harder than it's stock config, but I also fix some of the nagging issues (and find some cool tech with it) to show exactly what this blaster is capable of, and why basically everybody is wrong not giving this blaster a chance.

It's so cool that Dart Zone loved your review so much that they wanted to see what you could do to maximize performance. I doubt they'll make a stock blaster that'll hit that hard, but it gives them insight on what modders will do and what their customer base wants.

I remember back when 300+ FPS was only achievable with something like Drac's pressure sniper, which could fire a dart like once per 15 seconds. Now we have this absolute lunacy, which can do a similar powered shot like 2 times a second! Ridiculous! Buuuut extremely cool.

So people were pointing out the similarities between the internals of the DZP Mk 4 and those of the Worker Swift...and now I'm inclined to believe that may have been intentional. Dart Zone might have made that design decision because they wanted it to work with components that already exist on the aftermarket!

I have even more respect for dartzone now. The fact that they wholeheartedly accepted that their blaster could be better and did even better then just making it better themselves and re-releasing it.

Most powerful springer on the channel so far is the mega dart sniper thing that was on here.

220fps with a mega accustrike dart (2.6g) is 4.34 lb/ft

355 with a short dart (1g) is 4.13 lb/ft

So it narrowley beats the MK4 out.

Impressive numbers nonetheless, really brings home what you said in the original vid about the plunger volume being the same as the Swift, as the Swift with the 1.8 spring was good for 360fps as well, mine dod it with the standard metal plunger though.

Slap an 18kg spring in the M20 you got kicking around there somewhere and you'll be up around 370 though, without having to break out the dremel. 😂
