The Pantone speaker was likely just a giveaway (aka "swag") at a design conference or for vendor meetings. You get a useful item into the hands (or on the desk) of prospective clients, and then your brand is in front of your face every day.

Pantone owns colors, but only sort of….. they’re a set of standardized color codes for companies to use when designing logos and products. Monitors will vary from panel to panel, and colors can look drastically different than real life. A Pantone color code is a Pantone color code, and will (probably) never change. There are also now (unfortunately paid) Pantone extensions for use in photoshop.

TL;DR It’s an easy way to know that the logo for your company is gonna be the same color, no matter if it’s on a t shirt or on the side of a building.

Bluetooth speakers cant really be killed using the maracacracker because the speaker gets its power from the power chip on the board in ths speaker, all you really done with it is overvolt the audio input which fries the board

I’m not an electrician or much knowledgeable with electronics, but me thinks the Bluetooth speakers handle the analogue audio input through caps or some kind of VREG setup, to regulate the input voltage ensuring line level standards (which ensure safe operations: ie, not imploding your drivers). Analogue input goes through a ADC then another DAC for the onboard drivers - at least that’s the standard approach to my understanding.

Those add-on speaker are gonna be hard for the Maraca Cracka because it's entirely possible they'll have some sort of protection on their aux input. At the very least they aren't likely running straight to the speakers, so if they have anything that doesn't really eat that current/voltage up and die they'll be able to resist it and just clip to all hell.
