I got a direct message from a Buyer that just made me feel...."weird"....so though I hated the idea of passing on something, I just didn't feel comfortable. Maybe I'll regret it eventually but I made sure to respond quickly and politely. Gotta follow your gut.
And thank you for the Buyer's Request advice - had no idea. Still lots to learn.

I started fiverr yesterday and I got a message today saying "I saw your gig and profile, and I know you'll be an awesome fit for our company. The hourIy reward is --- us dollars, and you receive reward at the conclusion of each week. You have a pc, right?" Do you know if it's spam or not?

Thanks for the input. I was trying to decide whether to reply to someone on Fiverr, and now see the message on the email she sent me saying, "NAME can no longer be contacted. This will not affect your response rate." guess they discovered it was spam before me.

Great info here Angela! Can you speak to the potential of being reported as a seller because you sent offers to jobs you weren’t qualified for and the buyer got upset? I have sent some of those(without repercussions) but they assumed I could do the job without reading my message thoroughly. I like the idea, but don’t want to be reported for not being qualified.

Hi Angela, I just started Fiverr VO and I got an offer in my inbox vaguely explaining what it was for. Then they asked for my email to send all the details. I’m not sure what to make of it because it doesn’t sound like a Fiverr order. They said it was for a commercial game show. And they want me to record it in a rented studio near me. They also said they are working for a corporate client, I honestly don’t know if this is spam. What advice do you have? Thank you!

I need urgent help. I have been getting a lot of spam messages for the past 4 days and then i get orders from people who just joined fiverr and when i message them they don't respond. Another weird thing is that i have been getting more that a 1000 in one day which is very unusual. I don't know what to do. I feel like something is wrong.
