Gents, what are YOUR hobbies? Let me know with a comment.

Just to reassure you, I do not consider your content to be “manosphere” related. While your channel is geared towards men, instructing young men in ways to be a traditional gentleman is much needed these days. It doesn’t imply an intolerance towards people who don’t pursue this lifestyle. In my opinion, a gentleman doesn’t judgmentally project his standards on those around him. He abides by his own standards quietly, elegantly, and with dignity. Cheers!

The most attractive hobby is the one you love. And if the woman doesn't like your love, she's not your woman.

The difference between what women want and what they think they want is vast. Listen to what they do and how they respond, not what they say.

Disclaimer on #3. They love the *idea* of a guy who plays an instrument. That changes real quick once you move in together 😂

A true gentleman disregards women completely and has whatever hobbies HE enjoys.

Being fit should be like good hygiene. Always expected but never discussed.

If I base my hobbies based on what women think, I’m down bad. 😊

Imagine being so down low you let what women like dictate your hobbies & lifestyle

The study did not report the hobbies women find attractive, but rather the hobbies women _say_ they find attractive.

I appreciate a man going to the gym and taking good care of himself.

Good day. One of my favorite hobbies is journaling with fountain pen and paper. This has been part of my work life, and now retirement. I find a comfort writing my daily thoughts.

I like classic cars. I have one myself, a very gentlemanly 1970 Rover P5B Coupé. It's not a hobby I share with my wife, but she does enjoy my cooking every day. Recently, I've taken an interest in taking up reuphostering antique furniture as a hobby.

In my experience, what women SAY they find attractive, doesn’t often track well with what they select for in a mate. I’ve also observed “dealbreakers” be perfectly tolerated under the right conditions. This is why I’ve pursued my hobbies and interests removed from any external influence. I don’t seek any input or validation for them, nor do I fear what it will do for my perceived attractiveness.
When I was single, I focused and developed other elements of my personality, communication and presentation. Hobbies (and other people’s perceptions of them) weren’t a significant factor. I’ve found that a lot of young people align themselves with an activity, hoping to make up for a lack of personality or interpersonal skills too. When people think highly of you, there tends to be a “halo-effect” around whatever you put your hands on.
However, take my ramblings with a grain of salt. I’ve been married for a decade now; I can’t say that I have the best insights on what being single means for men today. I appreciate the channel overall. I’ve often thought about what makes a gentleman. I try to live along those lines and I find value in your content. Keep up the good work!

I bring my journal with me everywhere. When I dine or when I am by myself; I don't whip out my phone (never), I start to write my stories of my divorce, travels (five Continents and counting), past addictions, my comeuppance and when a lady approaches me and asks "What are you writing?" My response is always "I am actually writing a story for you to read when it gets, published." Their reaction is priceless and it actually starts a conversation. Being a part of the 'Head-Down-Society' is not a cool trait to have when you are out and about. Your channel is outstanding, mate.

A long term ex girlfriend of mine is a celebrity makeup artist and it was an inescapable topic of conversation in our relationship, so naturally I learned about it. After we broke up, the knowledge gained served me well as an icebreaker in approaching women either as a way to compliment or critique her or anyone else. Girls love talking about themselves and criticising anyone they view as competition. You never know how and when something your ex girlfriend wouldn’t shut up about might be useful.

Women like the results, not the work. Most accurate. Once you get a gf, she will do everything in her power to make you give up your hobbies "for" her. Don't let that happen.

Cigar smoking is a gentlemans hobby. Instead of chasing women at clubs go and smoke cigars with other men and learn from them. It's a higher class of person. After travelling the world and smoking everywhere I could the people I met were mostly well educated or street smart, loved the finer things like watches, cars and travelling, they are also contemplative and philosophical which is a habit of all cigar smokers from JFK, Michael Jordan, Churchill and many more great men.

You are basically orthogonal to the manosphere. You espouse improving yourself in a way that improves your life (including attracting partners) and that of those around you. Not the opposite of the manosphere, but in no way overlapping it either.

Reading, swimming, polyglotting, piano/guitar, writing, and volunteering teaching math.
