In the past, if you had a tooth with a diseased nerve, you would probably lose that tooth. Today, with a non-biological dental procedure called “root canal therapy or endodontic therapy”, your conventional dentist can possibly save your tooth and retain even the most severely damaged tooth while relieving your symptoms.

If you're so holistic, how are you treating peri implantitis and peri implant mucositis? What does the long term (10+ years) RCTs show regarding zirconium implants?

Hi Dr Horiyat, I see in the comments section that you read the comments... How come you do not talk about Pulp Capping, which actually can actually save the whole tooth, including the nerve and all?...

...Interesting to learn about this.... In addition, I read they are learning how to regrow teeth...When will this be available?....

I was thinking you were going to tell us about an alternative that would SAVE the tooth. Prevention with good dental care is one thing, but despite that, things still happen. Then it seems the only options are root canal or extraction. Clearly, extraction does not SAVE the tooth.

This is a very misguided video. Your resolution to a tooth that can be saved with a root canal is to take it out?? And you are recommending a partial denture over trying to save a tooth? Having a partial denture will cause its neighboring engaging teeth to loosen over time due to microfriction, which in turn will cause other teeth to fall out faster.
Once you take out a tooth, you will start losing bone in the area. Are you going to take out a tooth for an 18-yyear-old and put him/her on partial dentures? They're not even old enough for dental implants.
Can a root canal or an implant fail? Absolutely, there are multiple factors that affect the outcome when treating a human being. Anything can fail and nothing lasts forever, but that doesn't mean the treatment is the problem.
Taking out a tooth is the least holistic approach there is.
Titanium is commonly used in hip and joint replacements as well, which has to be 100% biocompatible otherwise the entire surgery will fail. Are you saying that all those orthopedic surgeons have to start using ceramic screws?
Which dental school did you go to to get these random holistic treatment ideas?
If you are so inclined to prove 99% of other dentists wrong, please host a CE course or go present at a major dental conference. It definitely will not go well for you in front of an educated colleagues/audience.
I feel terrible about all this misinformation spreading to the general public.
What you're spreading is some personal anecdotal/conspiracy ideals without an ounce of evidence.

How are you considering your self holistic dentist you just promoted Inplant. Great job scaring patients not to get a root canal so they can spend more money to do your artificial influence.
