Demon hunters are going to be the second hero class for World of Warcraft in the upcoming expansion "Legion". After the announcement, a lot of you asked me about the demon hunters. What's their origin story, how do they gain their powers and what might the story be for the demon hunters that we're going to play? That's what I'm going to talk about in this video so I hope you'll enjoy!

This is a first time watching one of your videos and I loved it. I do feel sorry for Illidan and I look forward to seeing how the story progresses in Legion. After playing through the Demon Hunter story line, Illidan was not as "Mad" as he seemed by sending his Demon Hunters away during the events of the Burning Crusade. From what Illidan was instructing and referencing, he seemed to know that his reign was about to come to an end with the efforts of the "Heroes" that were invading the Black Temple, and he knew that the Legion would return in his absence.

So, he sent his Demon Hunters to Mardum, along with a sect of the Ashtongue, Coilskar, and Shivarra to protect and preserve his forces. Those that survived would be stronger for it when they returned to Azeroth, and would best benefit the world with their power and abilities against the Burning Legion when they did return to take Azeroth. So, in reality, Illidan knew exactly what he was doing. ;)
