Hi Mr Wulff! I'm pretty sure that the Miyoo Mini tuff box you highlight is a design I published! I'm super happy to hear you like it and it was a nice surprise to stumble on this video. Enjoy your 3D printing journey 😊

We 3D printing folk are simple animals.
We see a video of a dude sharing what he made.
We watch it, give it a thumbs up, comment and leave.
3D printing is cool.
Life is good.

It's insane that so much cost on equipment (like the mic holders) can be saved by just a small investment in plastic. Something people don't talk about enough with 3D printing in general.

I worked for the IT dept back in college and we had a 3D printer we could use our printer balance on. Printed some trays to hold the cards when me and the boys were playing catan. 3D printing is so sick and honestly solves so many dumb problems people have

As a 3D printing instructor at my school I agree with everything you said, The freedom to make and create things a 3D printer brings you is quite unbelievable, it allows you to fix everyday problems in just a few hours, in some cases even minutes.

The one tool I would highly recommend is a caliper, it allows you to measure things and by that take your 3D printers calibration settings to the next level, it also makes it much easier to make things like your steam wand knob to fit because you could measure the exact dimensions needed for the final part

I purchased my first 3d printer about a week ago. It is such an exciting process. I am experienced with 3d modelling and being able to physically hold something I modelled in a computer is a magical feeling.

Hot tip when you try to make something round grip something round:
Make the round thing you print slightly oval, that way it naturally flexes and gives more grip!

I've enjoyed 3d printing as a hobby for years. It is great to see more people see the utility of it. I hope 3d printers become as common as a microwave in people's homes

As someone who got their first 3D printer a few months ago, I agree 100%. I enjoy mine so much that I purchased a second 3D printer. For those that don't have to have a Prusa or Bambu Lab and don't mind a little tinkering, it is insane how cheap some of these printers have gotten. My first printer was a rebadged Voxelab Aquila (Ender 3 V2 clone) and I scored it new on a deal for ~$55. My second is an actual Ender 3 V2 for $100 new from a Microcenter coupon.

I spent a week watching every 3D printing tutorial I could find before I ever opened the box on my first printer and am glad I did because it removed a lot of the "mystery" surrounding many aspects of configuring and operating my printer.

I admire that you try to solve simple problems that irritate, usually people tend to be over ambitious when they start printing. Keep 3d printing content coming!

Probably the best rabbit hole to go down. I got my first budget 3d printer a few years ago and now I'm on my 3rd custom built Voron printer, having a blast with all the stuff I'm learning. I also print a ton of gaming stuff now and even design and make my own arcade controllers. So much fun.

I loved 3d printing when I was at my old job. My boss at the time wanted a way to create prototype pieces for orthotics (back/knee/neck braces and such) and he got a Lulzbot Taz printer. I think it was a 3 series. I loved the size of the platform and he got a dual extruder when he purchased it for using multiple materials. I made so many cool things while I was learning how to use it so our 3d graphic designer could learn it from me. I personally prefer ABS if you can use it even though it is a little more difficult because it is sturdier and an acetone bath can make it look great and get rid of any minor imperfections. Have fun with it and you can never do it wrong, it's just a "new style"

3D printing is a really rewarding hobby once you get figured out the basics and have the patience to make it work. I love that 3D printing is becoming more and more mainstream.

3D printer was the best thing I too...ever bought! Agree with everything you've said...learning curve, becomes effort less once learned and that it's just down right very useful! Hell I've made home defense very easily which I've always wanted to have just in case! Pi5 Case, sim racing equipment to tools and soldering parts...ideas are endless! Cool video! Good info

TIP: Keep a small bottle with Alcohol and about 25% water with a microfiber towel... spray n wipe before prints.

Instead of soap and water, I suggest isopropyl alcohol between prints, and then every once in a while a splash of acetone. And if you're printing PETG, some windex after cleaning will help prints stick. I have spray bottles of all of them near my printer. Quick spray of the alcohol before a print, rubbed in with some paper towel, and the print bed is ready to go. (I have the Mini's big brother, the Prusa MK3S+.)

I have over 40 printers and it boggles my mind that there isn't one in every home. They are more accessible than they've ever been!
