24 pianists have been selected from the International First Round which took place in April 2021 in 17 countries around the world. They will progress to the Second Round of the 20th Leeds International Piano Competition which commences on the 8th September 2021 in Leeds, UK.

Join us as we set out to discover the greatest young pianists on the planet! The Competition will uncover the next winner of the prestigious Dame Fanny Waterman Gold Medal, following in the footsteps of Leeds legends such as Murray Perahia, Radu Lupu, Mitsuko Uchida and Eric Lu.

Wonderful playing and a beautiful piece Tyler! We are planning to move from Edinburgh to rural Perthshire so probably won't be seeing you here again but you and Gabriel will be welcome to visit us in our new home. I thought it was a piano competition not a harpsichord competition!😊
If he thinks he can hide behind this kind of repertoire he'll be disappointed when he has to play a Rachmaninov or Prokofiev concerto in the final.😊
