Im so glad that since the release of deltarune, people have re-assesed how they look at undertale. Because for so long people had misinterpreted the genocide route and chara as a character. Yes shes a bad person, she even kills two people canonically, but YOU, the PLAYER, killed the rest. She simply watched.

i dont really agree because Frisk the player saved the monsters her/his friends and we do kinda kill some monsters... Chara the fighter do controls them but... She/He likes to fight tho... Kris the... idk. he stops them both Frisk and Chara fighting but you don't see it. so idk if i, m right :/
