As mentioned in all of my other Flash EOL videos, Web Browser Vendors (like Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE, etc) will be removing Flash Support from their browsers through auto-updates and we discuss your options to deal with this.

Example:
----------
Google Chrome

*NOTE: Google Chromium (88+) will remove flash support in 2021. (Jan 19, 2021)
----------
Firefox

On January 26, 2021, Firefox will end support for Adobe Flash
----------
Internet Explorer, Edge and Windows Operating System

Flash will be completely removed from all browsers by December 31, 2020, via Windows Update.
Group policies are available for enterprise admins and IT pros to change the Flash behavior prior to that date.

-------------

Likewise, Microsoft (and possibly others Like Linux and macOS) will be removing Flash Player via an operating system auto-update, example:

Important notes

Adobe Flash Player will go out of support on December 31, 2020. For more information, see Adobe Flash end of support on December 31, 2020.
Applying this update will remove Adobe Flash Player from your Windows device.

After this update has been applied, this update cannot be uninstalled.
We are releasing this removal update in advance of end of support to help customers test and validate their environments for any impact that might occur by the removal of Adobe Flash Player. Also, if another security update for Adobe Flash Player is released, customers who take this removal update will still be offered the security update.
This update only removes Adobe Flash Player that was installed by your version of Windows. If you installed Adobe Flash Player manually from another source, it will not be removed. For more information about how to remove Adobe Flash Player, see the Uninstall Flash Player | Windows topic on the Adobe website.

Mark the video seems to end abruptly end as you discuss the batch file. Did Adobe knock down the door and kill the feed? ;) Stops at 9:48 for some reason. FYI

For those that successfully used the mms.cfg and got Flash to work after the time bomb date, system restore point is your friend. We have group policies running at my employer that controls Windows updates...if your try to disable the windows update services, the GP object will just re-enable it when the refresh time comes or you reboot. Somewhere down the line, Microsoft WILL put the flash removal KB in its monthly updates. Once it is installed, it cannot be removed short of a OS rebuild a system restore point! I would run a manual restore point job the day before patch Tuesday, and do it again the next month if the application of that months patches doesn't kill flash. I'm forced to stick with flash until we upgrade our VMware infrastructure, which should be about 60 days...As has been mentioned, the goal is to stop using Flash as soon as reasonably possible as you are propping up your system for the sake of an EOL app and compromising security at the same time
