Never seen someone cry so hard without crying.

He wasn’t being a great husband and father when he cheated. He sure wasn’t thinking about them when he committed the murder. Justice for Mr German

His focus is all about his own pain and his family's pain, but no regard at all for the man he killed or his loved ones. Disgusting!

I cant handle all his theatrics during his peoples testimony. No one wipes their invisible tears that viciously!

Now off to find another trial to bury myself in while I work 😂

He planned it out, hid and waited, and ambushed him with a knife. He should never get out. I'm disappointed in the verdict.

I don’t agree with parole. He admitted to nothing, lied endlessly, and showed NO remorse. Do they really think 20 years in prison will rehabilitate someone like that?

I know 20 to life is not what folks expected. But I want to assure you all—he will serve 40+ years because you have to show remorse and an ability to be rehabilitated. I don’t see him doing that. In addition, at each parole hearing after 20 years, the victims and prosecutors get to advocate for why he should remain incarcerated. The fact this was premeditated and vicious—I’d be shocked if he ever gets out based on those reasons.

Something incredibly catharthic about watching Telles quietly shake his head during the verdict.

I feel like his wife is totally out of touch with what he did…

In the last 15 years, the State of Nevada has paroled (on their first attempt at parole) only 4% of those inmates who were sentenced to life w/ 20-year parole restriction. Telles may eventually win parole, but not until he is at least 80 (33 years).

I think he’ll finally admit to it after 20 years ONLY to get out, but not a day before that day. But, it still doesn’t mean they’ll approve parole.

Telles looks so annoyed to have to listen to the victims family.

I do not understand why the jury is asked to be compassionate towards Telles and Telles' family! How horrible for the murdered man's family to have to listen to the murderer's family praise the man who killed their innocent loved one!

So, was it worth it Telles? It seems taking this poor mans life didnt quite prevent your own downfall as you had hoped.

How does someone who could have received the DP get a shot at parole? Especially with the amount of planning he put into it? Only in Nevada. 😂

I think/hope the judge will give him life imprisonment without parole, at sentencing. The crime was so brutal and gruesome. He should never be allowed to live among free society, because he's way too dangerous.

What an insult to the life of Jeff German and his family for a 1st degree premeditated murder. Life with possibility of parole after 20 years. Shame on you, jury !!!

He’ll never make it. He’s not built for the prison system.
