Unfortunately, for the likes of these and many other Muslim black men, their views of Islam are based on deception.

It’s hilarious because cassius clay was a Kentucky abolitionist who helped Abraham Lincoln free the slaves. He was named afte a man who literally helped free the black man and changed his name to a man who literally had hundreds of slaves. The irony

I'm African American and Christian. My brother-in-law who also is African American is a Muslim. He constantly talks about "the white man's religion" but refuses to hear these truths about islam. He even stopped going to family gatherings for Thanksgiving and Christmas but wants everyone to celebrate Ramadan at the mosque. He does m'uta and even deceived his own daughter into Islam. She does m'uta and even lost her kids behind it. Pitiful.

Two things I'd like to say. First, Cassius Marcellus Clay was not a "slave name." He was named after politician and hardcore abolitionist, who should have a film about him. Secondly, had Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, and many others known that Islamic prophet Muhammad was a white man who owned Black people as slaves and berated them, they never would've joined the Nation of Islam. This means Ali would have kept his heavyweight title and forfeited the prime of his career. Malcolm X would have remained Malcom Little and wouldn't have been assassinated.
