Borderline Personality Disorder vs Bipolar Disorder

The purpose of this video is to understand the difference between two mental health illnesses that are often misdiagnosed; borderline personality disorder (BPD) and bipolar disorder (BD). Both these conditions encompass similar clinical manifestations and symptoms. In this video,we follow the case study of a patient named Sam who was misdiagnosed with BD and becomes diagnosed with BPD. It outlines the causes, risk factors, symptoms, and consequences of both BD and BPD individually, and at the end, we compare both conditions.This video highlights that diagnoses often change over the course of treatment, and the importance of a correct diagnosis in mental health conditions.
