Rebel assault 2: the hidden empire is one of my favorites. As a kid, i loved it!

Shadows of the Empire was my favorite. Such a great game and state of the art for its time.

I'm amazed the 2005 ROTS game wasn't on this list. Even though ROTS wasn't the best movie (even though it was the best of the Prequels), the game was well made. Great enemy and character variation. Fighting was far more involved than others, and it was really fun to play the chapters of the movie and fight your way through. It wasn't perfect, but out of 25 games, I would put it in the teens. Great list otherwise though, and great video!

Incidentally, Republic Commando, & KOTORs 1 & 2 are all backwards-compatible on Xbox 360. They're a bit buggy since they run thru emulation, but still quite playable, despite some graphical & audio issues.

John, Kotor II was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. And they did a fantastic job, you should try playing the community mod that puts back in a bunch of stuff that was left on the cutting room floor.

I actually prefer KOTOR2 over the first game. I love how it explores the force in various shades of grey, and highlights the fact that using the Dark side doesn't necessarily mean you are "evil", and using the Light side doesn't necessarily mean you are "good". For some reason a lot of Star Wars media never highlights that fact, which is a shame. Also, with the Restored Content mod it's better now than it ever has been :)

I remember playing the original SW game in the arcades. I remember one place had the cabinet where you could sit. I remember as a kid feeling like I was actually there as Luke Skywalker. Fuck, if I played it today I would have the same feeling :P

Great list! #1 and 2 and 3 were right on. The only other ones I would of put is Bounty Hunter for ps2, rogue squadron 3 for gamecube and even though the controls were bad empire strikes back on gameboy.

RS2 was a great game for me personally, crazily i've never played battlefront, all the Lego I played with my young son and that was important because it gave us the chance to share an age appropriate game so all good there. Ahhh your tied number 2 Star Wars Arcade was my out and out number 1 incredibly fond memories of playing this at the end of the pier or when the fair came to town. KOTOR is a good choice! Brilliant my friend. Cheers Fuzz.

The KOTOR games are awesome. If you are a fan of Mass Effect you will enjoy these games.

Tie Fighter is one of my fave games. if youve never experienced it u can probly find a rom of it to play on dosbox. xwing is good too.

Loved the list starwarsnut77, but it's missing Rogue Squadron 3 on the Gamecube - The speederbike level in the game alone is the best depiction of Endor's lush, forest chase in a video game ever for me. The game had its faults but for me it's the greatest for "playing the films"

BTW, am I the only one who desperately wants an Adventures of Han Solo game? Maybe now that they're coming out w/a movie, perhaps we'll get an actual game & we'll learn how Han met Chewbacca & how he won the Millennium Falcon from Lando.

When I played kotor I got stuck on the first planet then I tried the sequel and got stuck on the first then I found a way past it then the second where I was stuck for a while. Then it said I was able to use my ship so I picket a planet at random and suprise my ship crash and I was stuck on my third planet in a row and mauled by its wild life

I cant wait for DICE to release Star Wars: Battlefront. Rumored for 2015 alongside the new movie but they can take as long as they want. I waited this long and would rather wait 2 more years for a game that truly lives up to the the battlefront name then have a bad rushed game today.
