How to tame your leopard gecko(guide)

Hey guys, thought I'd make a video about how I tamed my gecko and how you guys can tame yours. Remember that every gecko has a different personality and some of them can take longer to become used to you.

Hey Micheal, I've had my leopard gecko, Nugget, for over six months now. I still don't think he trusts me though. He's come a pretty long way since I got him though. I can now scoop him up, like you showed in a previous video, to take him out of his moist hide to mist it. When I try to scoop him up, however, I can get him to stay for a couple seconds but then he try's to leap/crawl off. I know that if ur not completely supporting their limbs and tail, they'll try to jump off but I know I'm supporting everything. If you can help me than it would be a big pleasure. Anyways, keep up the great work! 👍

I got two baby’s and one is getting used to everything quick and is curious, my other hisses and screams at me but she’s slowly calming down. I’ve had budgies for 8 years and your right, leos are way easier to tame! Just takes a lot of patience 🦎💚

Pixie rn is really shy but she/he is getting to know me better, if you want your gecko to trust you, talk to it, sing softly, move around so he gets to know ur movements, lastly put the hand in the enclosure which is one of the easiest ways of making your gecko trust you

Tbh what I’ve learned with taming any reptile it js take time n for you to get use to it like I had got my ball python scared to tame it and watched countless videos on it but all you really need is to not be nervous when trying to handle be confident
