Wow You did awesome job explaining what a green new deal is. The Washington post didn’t explain at all what a green new deal is. Thanks again for simple objective videos on topics that matter.

My question is who is going to pay for this $93, 000, 000, 000, 000 program? The US is already $25 trillion in debt.

While the goal of reducing emissions is a noble one, the Green New Deal would basically destroy the economy and quite possibly lead to mass starvation, especially if applied to a global scale. The private sector is already coming up with innovations that will continue to reduce US emissions purely from economic incentive. Look forward to the transition from privately owned internal combustion vehicles to service fleets of electric vehicles.

Great video, important topic. I'm a conservarive, but I can see the dangers of climate change.

Excellent video, but...
It would have been nice to see a nod to the Green Party and their candidates that started this movement in 2010 (Jill Stein and Howie Hawkins).

Also, the Green Party's version calls for paying for a Green New Deal through a redistribution of budget priority from Military Industrial Complex spending to this program.

Otherwise... great analysis! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into the research. It pays off in these videos! 😌👍💚🌍✌

Hi Sir and everyone who’s reading this, I’m a public middle school student and I just want to share this story my mom told me like a year ago. When my mom (she in her mid 30’s now) was in junior high/middle school herself in Philadelphia, her teacher gave them a mini quiz about Climate Change (well not really because at the time they was still looking in to Climate Change, it was basically if you think it was real or not and why) Well her teacher thought it was fake and my mom thought it will happen one day. So she (my mom) took quiz and she said something like, I think it’s real because of the pollution and every-day economic issues and growth happening in the world. Then her teacher check it and then gave it back to her a she got a “D” (p.s that was the only “D” she gotten in school, college, medical school) and she was confused and then she told the teacher why she got a “D” and her teacher said, “Well you were wrong but you did support your claim of it being ‘true’.” And my mom was like oh well. Then when she was in her 10th going to 11th grade, her answer was actually true and she was mad a little because she had to work hard to bring up her “C” that year to a “B+” or higher because that teacher gave her a “D” then I said, did you get an “A” then she told me “no because it was too late, i already passed 8th grade.” So basically, my mom probably would of made history a little if her teacher thought the same way but idk oof. Ok bye ✌🏽

Nice vid,
Somethings id like to point out in general is
Where are the trillions coming from?
There have been record lows throughout the world very recently
Different data is saying very different things abt how much the temp can rise... we have enough trouble predicing the weather for the week. Ive heard it can rise at most by .1% in the next decade

Sorry your 1.5 degree difference by 2050 is not in the consensus of the scientific community anymore.
