I am a relatively new chicken owner.. chicken lover all my life since 8 yrs old, ever since my babysitter had chickens and I went to the magical coop to find and collect the Easter eggs. Girl, we need to connect. I have 10 chickens of all ages. I'm super pumped and you are just the type of friend I need!! You are quirky, funny and wholesome, all qualities which I love, love. love!! I have zero real life friends (hate that term) that do chickens!

I had no clue what baby chicks can go through sometimes to find a home! They are sooo cute! I grew up on a hobby farm and we had chickens... they grow so fast. Fun yet informative video! 😁

I found this channel a few weeks ago and I love it. I can expand my knowledge on how to give my "feather babies" their best lives. I dont use this word much but I HATE factory farms. They are cruel and abusive. I just wanna move in with my chickens, if I'm having a bad day wether I'm mad or sad they cheer me right up.

Just subscribe to your channel. When I was growing up my grandma had chickens and I kept one as a pet. I can’t wait until I get to have chickens again. Thanks for your videos.

I used the glass pebbles used in flower arranging for my guineas. They are half the size of a chick when new.

It is worth it to note that they should also always have access to plain water, too. In addition, chicks really don't need grit either. Their food is made so they don't need it. But that could totally be opinion based on reading I've done and it surely won't hurt them to give it to them.

This video makes me want to hatch more eggs now. But my husband might divorce me if I do. Especially considering that I just wanted 6 and now I have 21....(had 26 before selling my five golden comets.) Chicken math is real though....LOL!

Ty for your videos!
I had bought one of those radiant brooder heaters and did not get up to temp. I had to put a heating pad under my plastic tote. That did work. Maybe I got a bad one. My kiddos will be 3 months old this Saturday. 😁🐥🐤

25 baby chicks are due here in April! Hopefully they all arrive well! I may get some feed store chicks as well.

I literally have been watching all of your videos. I'm getting my first chicks in 2 weeks. I've wanted chickens for 2 years and I'm so nervous now that they are coming. I had planned on using a shed that is attached to my house as a coup. However, is that a bad idea? smell? or should I have a dedicated place for the coup and run farther from my home?

Thank you so much for this information. My chicks arrive in 2 weeks and Im beyond excited. I was wondering what your thoughts are regarding supplements like GroGel plus? I have noticed it a few times on the online hatchery sites. Thanks
