Since trying the IPad Mini 5 I have never looked back to Android I have the mini 6 & love it but I do have one wish. I wish they would ether go balls out with the screen even if they had to come out with Mini pro or something. My mini is my everything it’s just a perfect comfortable size it has basically become my phone’s replacement as everyone uses video chat & when you don’t everyone has some type of headphones for when you want your call to be private but my Mini is definitely my entertainment device it goes everywhere with me it’s the best of both worlds when it comes to size! It has a tablet feel yet you get to enjoy a cozy discrete device similar to that of a phone. All I want is for them to place a highly top of the line display! It would make me so happy to have a high resolution densely packed pixel screen preferably the best they can make. I can dream I guess lol.

Planning on getting a new ipad. if the ipad mini 7 is around the corner, I'll just wait. I see lots of people asking if it will have a 120hz display, but 120hz doesn't matter to me

I would love a new iPad with a 9.5" screen. Im wanting an iPad to use while flying for Foreflight and stuff like that and the Mini is just a tad to small imo. And the Air 10.8" is a tiny bit too big for the cockpit. Makes it cramped

What I would need from this new iPad mini is the latest bionic(flagship iPhone) chip or a comparable Mac chip.
At least 128gig for the base model(64gig is unacceptable in this time and age!).
a 120 hertz refresh rate is also an absolute must.
Further but non crucial additions would be a slightly larger screen combined with oled tech.

All the rumors I heard are saying the iPad mini 7 won’t be released at the March iPad event next month and not until next Fall! I hope they’re wrong and it’s ready to ship now. I want to upgrade my 2018 11” iPad Pro, but even more than that, I want to upgrade my iPad mini 7!

highly doubt apple will toss an oled in it, i hope I'm wrong tho, honestly the main upgrade id like to see is the refresh rate, that 60hz has to go, wouldn't mind seeing them reduce the huge bezels around the screen too
