I actually nearly worked for the ICRC many years ago - they are a fantastic organization and do A  LOT of good.

The safety of health care workforce, a very important topic that TWiGH has well covered in this episode. Certainly awareness and implementation of improved safety in health care facilities tailored to specific needs will enhance security both to health care workers and patients.

Very important episode.. I completely agree with the panel and Dr. Eshaya-Chauvin on protecting the health systems and the perimeter, the need for solutions and implementing them in conflict zones. Thanks for the HCiD resource, explaining what kind of personnel and career options exists to work in conflict zones.. Looking forward to more episodes related to healthcare in danger.

Thanks for discussing how conflicts impact the healthcare system! Very interesting. Although I know health workers were targets in some situations (such as the anti-vaccine movement in Pakistan) I had no idea it was such a global issue. Great to have Dr. Eshaya-Chauvin on the show.
